This beautifully varied exhibition presented a wide range of printmaking techniques to showcase the creative talents of the Open Bite printmakers. Etching, woodblock, lino, solarplate and lithograph were all used to create a varied and thought provoking exhibition. .

French printmakers, TAILLE12MORSURE27 and Open Bite Printmakers from Sydney joined forces to present an exhibition of postcard-sized original prints. The images were inspired by the artists’ impressions of their home country, some literal and figurative, others philosophical and abstract.
The main display was of unframed images, reminiscent of a collection of ‘Postcards from Home’, along with a selection of framed prints.

Coming from two very different states of Australia, Tasmania and New South Wales, Ferntree Printmakers and Open Bite collaborated for an exhibition to celebrate the unique qualities of each.
Waterline
Gosford Regional Gallery and ACU Gallery, Barker Rd Strathfield, 2006
Australia’s relationship to water is the theme of this exhibition and the centerpiece is a large collaborative work based on an aerial view of the coastline of the Sydney basin.
The variety of visual interpretations of water, as a social commentary, through the artist’s personal perspectives, experience and observation, were assembled at the Gallery into a large and beautiful mural. Framed individual works on the theme of water were also presented.
The Waterline Exhibition was shown at the Gosford Regional Gallery, where it was very well received, and then was displayed for Sydney audiences at the ACU Galler
